Time magazine has named Tokyo the best Japanese restaurant in the country for its high-quality sushi.
The magazine said Tokyo has five Michelin stars, making it the third-best restaurant in Japan, ahead of Tokyo’s own Hakata Restaurant and Takashi Tomita Restaurant in Kita Ward.
Tokyo’s first sushi restaurant, Sakana, opened in 1986 and is renowned for its sushi.
The Tokyo Sapporo Sushi Company has expanded its portfolio, bringing in other Japanese restaurants and sushi producers.
Tokyuya Sushi has been the most successful sushi producer in Japan.
It produces about 1,500 pieces of sushi per day, which are sold to restaurants in the United States and Europe.
The restaurant’s menu features a variety of items such as nigiri, sushi rolls, and rolls made from fresh fish and vegetables.
